Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and technically strong Azure L1 Consultant to support cloud operations and incident management across Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Azure services, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage service requests within defined SLAs.Key Responsibilities1. Incident & Service Request ManagementHandle L1/L2 support tickets related to Azure servicesPerform troubleshooting and basic root cause analysisEnsure timely resolution in line with SLA commitmentsEscalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams or Microsoft support when requiredMaintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions2. Core Azure FundamentalsUnderstanding of Azure global infrastructure (regions, availability zones)Manage Resource Groups, Subscriptions, and Management GroupsWork with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) deploymentsUse Azure Portal, CLI, and PowerShell for operationsMonitor Azure Service Health and Resource Health3. Identity & Access ManagementManage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) basicsHandle Users, Groups, Service Principals, Managed IdentitiesImplement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)Support Privileged Identity Management (PIM)Troubleshoot MFA and basic Conditional Access issues4. NetworkingManage Virtual Networks (VNet) and SubnetsUnderstand IP addressing and CIDRConfigure NSGs and User Defined RoutesSupport Azure Load Balancer & Application Gateway (basic concepts)Work with Azure Firewall rules and VPN GatewayBasic understanding of ExpressRouteManage Private Endpoints and DNS ZonesUse Azure Bastion for secure access5. Compute, Storage & Platform SupportSupport Azure VM and compute-related issuesTroubleshoot storage-related problemsAssist in backup and disaster recovery operations6.
