Job Title: L1 Network EngineerLocation: Mumbai (Onsite) Employment Type: Long-Term ContractJob Summary:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented L1 Network Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in network configuration, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of core networking concepts including routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. Exposure to SD-WAN technologies will be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Perform basic network configuration and device provisioning (routers, switches, firewalls).Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of network services.Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 network issues, escalating complex problems when required.Support and maintain routing protocols such as BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First).Assist in configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SD-WAN environments.Perform routine health checks, maintenance, and documentation updates.Coordinate with cross-functional teams for incident resolution and service requests.Maintain adherence to SLAs and operational processes.Required Skills & Qualifications:1–3 years of experience in network support or operations (L1 level).Mandatory: Hands-on experience with network device configuration.Strong understanding of:TCP/IP, VLANs, SubnettingRouting protocols (BGP, OSPF)Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.Basic knowledge of SD-WAN concepts (Viptela, Meraki, or similar is a plus).Familiarity with Cisco networking devices preferred.Good communication and coordination skills.Working Conditions:Work Mode: Onsite – MumbaiWork Days: Monday to Saturday (Sunday off)Shifts:9:00 AM – 6:00 PM2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
