With offices in Mumbai and Bengaluru, we augment the human workforce through bespoke AI employees and partner with early-stage startups to build AI-native products from 0 to 1.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Senior Frontend Engineer to build intuitive, responsive interfaces for our AI-powered products. You can work from Bengaluru or Mumbai. We're a strong team of motivated self-learners constantly working to improve our capabilities, and we're looking for thought leaders who can drive technical vision and shape our frontend architecture. This role is focused on designing and developing user-facing applications that make complex AI workflows accessible and delightful. You'll architect scalable frontend systems, establish UI/UX best practices, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with AI, backend, product, and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Beyond writing code, you'll influence engineering decisions, champion best practices, and help define what great frontend engineering looks like at Es Magico.Must Haves5+ years in frontend development with 2+ years in a senior role, mentoring teams and setting engineering standardsExpert-level proficiency in Next.js, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScriptStrong experience with Bootstrap and building fully responsive, mobile-first applications across all device sizesHands-on experience building Progressive Web Apps (PWAs): service workers, offline capabilities, app manifests, push notificationsExperience building AI-powered interfaces: chat interfaces, streaming responses, real-time updates, and interactive AI workflowsDeep understanding of component architecture, state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API), and performance optimizationHands-on experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and integrating frontend with backend servicesProven ability to drive technical decisions, evaluate new technologies, and establish frontend architecture patternsStrong eye for design, attention to detail, and commitment to pixel-perfect implementation across devicesExperience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflowsThought leadership mindset: staying ahead of frontend trends, sharing knowledge, and continuously improving engineering practicesComfortable shipping fast while maintaining high quality in dynamic environmentsThe candidate must align with our core belief to Innovate, Uplift, Impact & Evolve with our talented and kind teamNice To HavesExperience building conversational UI, agent dashboards, or workflow buildersFamiliarity with data visualization libraries (Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts)Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive designExperience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)Understanding of AI/LLM concepts to better design user experiencesExperience with design systems and component librariesFamiliarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Python) for full-stack collaborationExperience optimizing for performance on low-bandwidth or mobile networksExperience in BFSI, healthcare, or enterprise product developmentActive contributor to open source or technical communities
