Role: Event Sales CoordinatorDepartment: Event Operations / SalesLocation: [Remote / Delhi NCR / Hybrid]Type: (Fixed Salary + Incentive)Role Overview: We are looking for an Event Solutions Coordinator who will act as the first point of contact for incoming event inquiries. The role involves understanding client requirements, qualifying leads, and assigning them to the appropriate event managers based on the event type, location, and scale.This role is critical in ensuring that event inquiries are handled efficiently and directed to the right specialists to maximise conversion and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:1. Lead Understanding & QualificationInteract with incoming event leads to understand their event type, scale, budget, location, and timelines.Identify the exact service requirements such as venue, catering, decor, entertainment, logistics, etc.Capture and document all lead details accurately in the internal system.2. Lead Assignment & CoordinationAssign qualified leads to the appropriate Event Manager based on: Event category, Location, Vendor availability, Complexity of the eventEnsure smooth handover of lead information to the event management team.3. Lead Prioritisation & ManagementPrioritise incoming leads based on: Event urgency, Ticket size / potential revenue, Strategic valueEnsure high-value or urgent leads receive immediate attention from the event team.4. Internal CoordinationCoordinate with Event Managers to ensure leads are picked up and acted upon promptly.Track the status of leads and maintain visibility across the pipeline.Assist in improving the lead routing and qualification process over time.Required Skills & Qualifications: Basic understanding of the event industry and event planning processStrong communication and requirement gathering skillsAbility to prioritise and manage multiple leads simultaneouslyGood organisational and coordination skillsFamiliarity with lead management systems is a plusIdeal Candidate Profile:Has experience in events, hospitality, sales coordination, or operationsStrong attention to detail and structured thinkingComfortable communicating with clients and internal teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced, lead-driven environment
