Job Description: Structural Design Coordinator Location: Gurugram, Haryana Company: LERA Consulting Structural Engineers India Pvt Ltd Position Type: On-site, Full time About Us LERA is a 230-person, award winning, structural engineering firm providing design services for architects, developers, contractors and owners. Established in 1923, we have designed numerous landmark projects, both nationally and internationally. Our long tradition of innovative design has brought us to the forefront of the structural engineering profession.  Headquartered in New York City, LERA also operates branch o ices in Salt Lake City, Mumbai, Jaipur, Shanghai, Seoul and Hong Kong. Job Summary The Structural Design Coordinator will be responsible for providing structural engineering support at the project site while coordinating closely with the design o ice. The role involves attending site meetings, resolving design-related site issues, coordinate between site and design team, reviewing construction administration (CA) documents, conducting key site inspections (if needed), and performing structural design and analysis tasks as required. The position ensures that structural works are executed in compliance with approved designs & drawings, codes, and project specifications. Qualifications • Minimum requirement: Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) • Knowledge of relevant international and local structural design codes • Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in structural design and site coordination • Prior experience working on construction sites in a design support role is preferred Skills • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, etc.) • Proficiency in MS O ice Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Revu Bluebeam. • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction practices • Basic understanding of Reinforced Concrete and Steel details. • Ability to interpret and explain design drawings and calculations clearly • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi. • Ability to work independently at site and collaboratively with remote design teams • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.  Key Responsibilities Site Coordination, Support and Construction Administration • Attend site meetings, technical discussions, and coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives • Provide design clarifications and resolve structural design-related queries arising at site • Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to structural works • Review and comment on structural submittals, shop drawings, and method statements • Coordinate with the design o ice to ensure timely resolution of site issues • Conduct occasional site inspections to verify construction works against approved structural drawings and specifications Design & Engineering Tasks • Perform structural analysis and design tasks as assigned by the design o ice • Support design changes due to site conditions, constructability issues, or value engineering proposals  Working Conditions • Location: Based in Gurugram, Haryana. • Work Timings: Monday to Saturday, based on site working hours (8 hours excluding breaks usually, longer, if needed on certain days) • Reporting To: Project Manager in Design o ice.  How to Apply Interested candidates should send their resume and a cover letter to  with the subject line “Design Supervisor – Gurugram.” Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews. LERA is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
