This is a paid 3-month internship and a great opportunity for someone seeking hands-on experience in fintech and Web3 applications within a fast-paced startup environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and maintaining backend APIs and microservices using Node.jsWork with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other SQL/NoSQL systemsSupport integrations with third-party APIs and blockchain/Web3 servicesCollaborate with frontend and mobile teams to ensure seamless API integrationWrite clean, maintainable, and testable backend code under guidance from senior developersContribute to QA testing, debugging, and performance optimizationAssist in configuring CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment processesFollow best practices for data security, authentication, and backend architectureResearch and experiment with new backend tools and frameworks to improve performanceMust-Have Skills & ExperienceStrong programming fundamentals in JavaScript or TypeScriptHands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js (projects, coursework, or internships)Basic understanding of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or FirebaseKnowledge of REST APIs and backend communication with frontend/mobile applicationsFamiliarity with Git/GitHub and version control workflowsStrong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn in a startup environment
