The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading complex technology or digital transformation programs, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and extensive proficiency in JIRA for Agile delivery.The role also includes contributing as a Project Management Practitioner (PM Practitioner) — supporting PM best practices, mentoring peers, and participating in interview panels to assess incoming PM talent.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver multiple strategic projects across the Wealth and Asset Management portfolio, ensuring quality, scope, and timeline adherence.Define project plans, charters, risk frameworks, and governance models aligned with organizational and regulatory objectives.Leverage JIRA extensively for project planning, sprint tracking, reporting, and stakeholder visibility.Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure disciplined execution through JIRA workflows and dashboards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Product, Technology, Operations, and Business — to deliver end-to-end solutions.Manage stakeholder expectations through transparent communication and structured governance.Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, ensuring compliance with BFSI-specific controls and data regulations.Act as a PM Practitioner — contributing to internal PM frameworks, process optimization, and best practice documentation.Participate in interview panels to evaluate and onboard new project managers.Mentor junior PMs and support internal capability-building initiatives.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related discipline.9–12 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in BFSI, particularly in Wealth and Asset Management.Extensive hands-on experience with JIRA, including advanced workflows, dashboards, and custom reporting.Strong understanding of financial instruments, investment lifecycle, portfolio management, and advisory platforms.Proven expertise in Agile methodologies; experience running Scrum or Kanban projects.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience in mentoring, interviewing, and developing project management talent.Exposure to digital transformation, cloud migration, or FinTech integrations is a strong plus.Preferred CertificationsPMP / PRINCE2Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / SAFe AgilistPMI-ACP or ITIL (optional)Project Management Practitioner (PM Practitioner) designation is highly desirableStay Connected with us:Learn more about ALOIS in Australia, visit our webpage ALOIS AustraliaFollow us on LinkedIn and InstagramEEO Statement:ALOIS Australia is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
