Program Coordinator – ECO & BOM ControlManufacturing Program OfficeRole OverviewThe Program Coordinator – ECO & BOM Control supports the Manufacturing Program Manager (MPM) by enforcing execution discipline across Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Bill of Materials (BOM) control, and program timelines.This role is execution focused, with strong emphasis on tracking, coordination, governance, and visibility. The incumbent ensures that all ECOs, BOM updates, and cross functional deliverables are planned, tracked, and executed on schedule, with clear ownership and escalation.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, assertive in follow-ups, and experienced in managing complex, cross functional programs using structured tools and dashboards.Primary MissionTo establish and enforce program execution discipline by:Tracking all ECOs and BOM changes end-to-endDriving adherence to committed timelines across teamsIdentifying schedule risks and scope creep earlyProviding clear, accurate program status visibility to leadershipKey Responsibilities1. ECO Lifecycle TrackingOwn end-to-end tracking of all Engineering Change Orders across the program.Responsibilities include:Maintain a centralized ECO tracker (status, owner, dependencies)Track ECO progress from initiation → validation → release → implementationEnsure no ECO is released without proper tracking and timeline alignmentProactively highlight delays, blockers, and execution risks2. BOM Control and Version ManagementEnsure strict discipline in BOM management across design and manufacturing.Responsibilities include:Maintain BOM version control and detailed change logsTrack all add / delete / modify actions linked to ECOsEnsure alignment between Design BOM and Manufacturing BOMFlag inconsistencies, gaps, or unapproved changes3. Timeline and Milestone TrackingDrive schedule adherence across all program teams.Responsibilities include:Build and maintain detailed project schedulesTrack weekly progress against committed milestonesIdentify schedule variance and escalate risks earlyEnsure clear ownership and accountability for every deliverable4. Dashboard and ReportingCreate consistent, transparent program visibility for leadership.Responsibilities include:Develop dashboards covering:ECO statusTimeline adherenceOpen and pending actionsProvide weekly status reports to the MPM and leadershipClearly highlight critical risks, delays, and bottlenecks (no data masking)5. Meeting Cadence and Execution GovernanceDrive structured and disciplined program communication.Responsibilities include:Schedule and run weekly program review meetingsAlign stakeholders on priorities, risks, and timelinesCapture action items with owners and due datesRigorously track and close commitments6.
