Job Title: ITOM Senior Consultant (CMDB & Discovery)Location: Bangalore Experience: 7–9 Years Level: Manager / Senior ConsultantRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced ITOM Senior Consultant specializing in CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and ServiceNow Discovery to lead implementation, optimization, and governance of IT Operations Management solutions. The candidate will play a key role in designing scalable CMDB architectures, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling automation through Discovery tools.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, implementation, and maintenance of CMDB within ServiceNowConfigure and manage ServiceNow Discovery for infrastructure and application mappingEnsure CMDB data quality, governance, and compliance with best practicesDefine and maintain CI (Configuration Item) classes, relationships, and data modelsCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams for data integrationImplement Service Mapping and improve visibility of IT servicesTroubleshoot Discovery issues and optimize scan performanceWork on integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and third-party toolsProvide technical leadership and mentor junior consultantsSupport audits and ensure alignment with ITIL processesRequired SkillsStrong experience in ServiceNow ITOM moduleHands-on expertise in CMDB design, implementation, and governanceExperience with ServiceNow Discovery, MID Server, and Service MappingKnowledge of ITIL framework and IT operations processesUnderstanding of infrastructure technologies (Servers, Networks, Cloud)Experience in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API in ServiceNow)Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
