Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Web Developer. The Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications to support SCRF’s mission. The role involves developing both the front end and back end of web solutions, ensuring user-friendly experiences and efficient performance. Responsibilities include developing innovative web functionalities, optimizing sites for speed and scalability, debugging, and collaborating with the design, content, and research teams for seamless integration of web solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks and database managementStrong skills in Front-End Development with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience in Web Development and Programming to create and maintain functional and robust websitesProficiency in Web Design, with a focus on creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfacesKnowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibilityStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExperience with version control systems like GitFamiliarity with SEO principles is a plusBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent work experience
