Role Overview : We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS Codes) and proven experience working on international projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural systems while ensuring compliance with Australian regulations and global engineering practices. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams across different regions.Key Responsibilities: Design and analyze structural systems for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects in accordance with Australian Standards (AS Codes). Prepare structural calculations, reports, drawings, and technical documentation. Review and validate structural designs for compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and international project teams. Participate in project planning, design reviews, and client meetings. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters. Conduct site visits and structural assessments when required. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.Required Skills & Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering. Strong understanding of Australian Design Codes (e.g., AS 1170, AS 3600, AS 4100, AS 4600). Minimum 5+ years of structural design experience. Experience working on international projects or with global clients. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as: o ETABS o SAFE o STAAD Pro o SAP2000 o AutoCAD / Revit Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in multicultural and remote project environments. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Australian consulting firms or projects based in Australia. Knowledge of wind, seismic, and load design as per Australian Standards. Chartered Engineer status or working toward professional accreditation (preferred). Experience in BIM coordination.
