About the DepartmentInvest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development- Source and engage active investment leads through targeted outreach.- Facilitate initial interactions with potential investors, independently or with industry teams.Investment Promotion- Organize and execute roadshows and promotional events, track participation and lead generation.- Conduct roundtables, webinars, and one-to-many engagements in collaboration with missions, associations, and other partners.- Innovate and implement new methods for pipeline generation.Pipeline Building- Progress leads to sector or state teams for qualification and conversion.- Categorize and hand over leads based on touchpoint intensity and investment value.- Collaborate with industry, state, and R&D teams on lead development.Enabling Ease of Doing Business (EoDB)- Identify and collate EoDB issues; support resolution efforts.- Organize EoDB-focused roundtables- Provide policy recommendations to relevant sectors and states.Bilateral, Multilateral & G2G Engagements- Support deliverables and receivables in G2G platforms such as Joint Working Groups, CEO Forums, Trade Forums, QUAD, IPEF,WAIPA, etc.- Ensure quality of outcomes through regular feedback and reporting.Knowledge Collateral & Investor Queries- Develop country intelligence documents covering investment, trade, and R&D.- Contribute to high-quality country-specific collateral and respond to ad-hoc requests from senior leadership.- Handle investor queries within defined turnaround times and satisfaction benchmarks.IRM & Website Management- Maintain accurate and timely updates on IRM systems regarding advisory, meetings, issues, and policy work.- Regularly update the country-specific website, including blogs and other content.Teamwork & Collaboration- Demonstrate strong collaboration through peer and manager feedback.- Participate in 360-degree reviews and contribute to a high-performance team culture.Team Management- Allocate work effectively across team members.- Review team deliverables and provide detailed, constructive feedback on quality and timeliness.- Support team development and performance improvement.QualificationsMasters preferable; Min 3 years of experienceExperience in investment/trade promotions or working with global companies or exposure to foreign companiesExposure to global stakeholdersKnowing Japanese language at professional expertise an advantage but not mandatory
