In-Country Representative for Undergraduate Student Recruitment The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is seeking an in-country representative to support the University’s undergraduate international student recruitment. This position offers a flexible working location within India; applicants can be based anywhere in the country (not restricted to New Delhi), as the role involves nationwide recruitment effort. Scope of D/p>utes Expected Deliverabes: (a) plan and develop strategies to promote PolyU in the assigned country, expand the Universiy’s reach to new cities and new schools for undergraduate student recruitent; (b) expand the pool of applicants with academic potentials and resources through tageted recrutment; (c) build and maintain constructive relationships with senior management and higher eucation counsellors in secondary schools and related educationa bodies; (d) provide market intelligence on education in the assigned country and conduct market rsearch in relation to undergraduate student ecruitment; (e) deliver admissions talks at school-based and region-ased levels; (f) provide personal consultation service to prospectie applicants; (g) participate in local education fairs, exhibitions, and other promtional events; (h) plan and deliver conversion and pre-departure activities for applicantsand admittees; (i) identify, search for, and develop strategic partnerships and collaboration oportunities with potential Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), government agencies, and elevant idustry partners; (j) maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and student enquiriesto provide regular progress repors to the University; (k) answer enquiries from local partners, teachers, arents, and stuents Qualifications Aplicants should possess: (a) a recognised degree, plus solid experience in international student recruitent fr universities or HEIs; (b) in-depth knowledge of the student recruitment cycle, applicatin procedures, scholarship processes, international academic qualifications, and local education oards and organisation in the assigned country; (c) profound connections with and knowledge in working with universiy/career counsellors in high scools in the assigned country; (d) solid experience in marketing and social media content generaion, with the ability to craft compelling promotional materials that resonate with local audieces, would be a huge advantage. (e) excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, inclding spoken and written English; fluency in other languages would e considered a distinct advantage; (f) a high level of cultural sensitivity and the ability to workindependentlywithin a remote team environment; (g) willingness to undertake frequent regional travel and to wrk beyond normal office hours during peak recruitment periods; ability to perform the dties on a full-time basis to maximise recruitment efficacy ould be considered a distinct advantage (h) a vald driving licence would be an advantage.
