Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Language and Literature Facilitator to teach across the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The role involves fostering critical thinking, communication skills, and a deep appreciation for literature in alignment with IB philosophy.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging lessons for MYP (Years 1–5) and DP Language & Literature.Design unit planners aligned with IB frameworks, including inquiry-based learning and global contexts.Prepare students for DP assessments, including Internal Assessments (IA) and external examinations.Guide students in textual analysis, comparative studies, and written/oral communication.Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback.Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary learning.Participate in IB authorization and evaluation processes.Requirements:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English or related field.IB MYP and/or DP teaching experience preferred.Strong understanding of IB pedagogy and assessment practices.Excellent communication and classroom management skills.Ability to mentor and inspire students.
