About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled MEP Engineer (HVAC focus) to lead and manage HVAC works within MEP projects. Pharma project experience will be an advantage.ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the installation of mechanical (HVAC, fire protection, piping, etc.), electrical (lighting, power distribution), ELV (CCTV, Network, BMS, FAPA, Access control, Door Interlock, etc.), and plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, ETP, STP, etc).Ensure all work complies with design drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards.Monitor on-site activities to ensure proper execution and quality.Lead and coordinate a team of skilled workers and subcontractors involved in MEP works.Assign daily tasks, provide technical guidance, and monitor performance.Address worker concerns and ensure adherence to work schedules.Conduct inspections and ensure MEP installations are performed to the highest quality standards.Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies during installation or commissioning stages.Ensure proper testing and commissioning of all MEP systems before project handover.Collaborate with MEP engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems with overall construction activities.Prepare daily and weekly schedules for MEP tasks in alignment with the project timeline.Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.Enforce safety protocols and ensure workers adhere to safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE).Conduct safety briefings and inspections to mitigate potential hazards.Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and manpower deployment.Provide regular updates and reports to MEP Project Managers.Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation as required.Address on-site challenges related to MEP installations effectively.Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical or logistical issues impacting progress.Vendor billing certification work and preparation of billing as per actual measurement. QualificationsDiploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).6+ years of experience in Industrial Projects / MEP Projects.Required SkillsStrong technical knowledge of MEP design, installation, and commissioning.Project management expertise with proven track record of handling medium to large-scale projects.Good knowledge of IS standards, safety norms, and statutory requirements.Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.Strong leadership, communication, and client-handling skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
