You'll own the architecture that everything else depends on.What You'll OwnArchitect and build low-latency, high-throughput services in Node.js that handle real-world scale without breaking a sweat.Design fault-tolerant distributed systems, microservices, event-driven pipelines, the kind of architecture that keeps running when things go wrong.Lead backend evolution from monolith to scalable microservices, knowing when to move and how to do it without burning down production.Define and enforce API contracts, service boundaries, and system design principles that the whole engineering team lives by.Drive performance engineering, profiling, bottleneck analysis, query optimization, finding the problem before users do.Build resilient systems with retries, circuit breakers, and graceful degradation so failures are handled, not feared.Own observability across the stack, logging, tracing, metrics, not just debugging when things break but knowing before they do.Lead incident response and postmortems, own what you shipped, fix it fast, and make sure it never happens the same way again.Mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and build a code review culture that raises the entire team.You are available to join within one week.
