We work closely with global OEMs, distributors, and channel partners to deliver high-quality technology solutions to our clients.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement / Purchase Manager with a strong background in IT infrastructure procurement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing relationships with OEMs, distributors, and channel partners, along with expertise in global procurement, import/export processes, and supply chain optimization.This role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, and the ability to manage procurement operations efficiently while ensuring cost optimization and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities1. Vendor & OEM ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with IT OEMs, distributors, and authorized channel partners.Negotiate pricing, contracts, SLAs, rebates, and credit terms.Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreements.Identify and onboard new domestic and international suppliers.2. Global ProcurementManage end-to-end global procurement activities for IT hardware, networking equipment, servers, storage, and related infrastructure products.Source products from international markets to optimize cost and availability.Monitor global pricing trends and market conditions.3. Import & Export OperationsHandle complete import/export documentation and compliance.Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, logistics providers, and customs authorities.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, duties, and taxation norms.Manage shipment tracking and timely delivery.4. Purchase & Inventory ManagementPlan and execute purchase orders based on sales forecasts and project requirements.Ensure optimal inventory levels and reduce excess/obsolete stock.Coordinate with sales and technical teams for project-based procurement.Maintain procurement records, MIS reports, and cost analysis.5. Cost Control & NegotiationDrive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality.Negotiate bulk deals and long-term contracts.Monitor margins and support the sales team in pricing strategy.6. Compliance & DocumentationEnsure adherence to company procurement policies.Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.Manage vendor agreements and contracts.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.MBA (Supply Chain / Operations) preferred.Experience Requirements5–10+ years of experience in procurement within an IT Infrastructure / System Integration company.Proven experience dealing with:Global OEMs (HP, Dell, Cisco, Lenovo, etc.)National & international distributorsChannel partnersHands-on experience in global sourcing and international procurement.Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsKnowledge of IT hardware & infrastructure productsUnderstanding of global trade compliance & logisticsExcellent analytical and cost management abilitiesERP/SAP or procurement software experienceStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentPreferred AttributesEstablished network with IT OEMs and distributorsExperience in handling large enterprise or government procurement projectsStrong understanding of pricing structures, rebates, and deal registrations
