Job Description: AI/ML Engineer Location: Delhi NCR Experience: 3 – 7 Years Job Type: Full-Time Job OverviewWe are seeking AI/ML Engineers with 3–7 years of hands-on experience in building scalable Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to the healthcare domain, including claims, clinical data, and provider/payor workflows.Candidates with prior experience at Optum, UHG, or UHC will be highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesAI/ML EngineeringBuild and deploy production-grade ML, NLP, and LLM/GenAI models.Implement modern AI architecture patterns such as microservices, feature stores, real-time/batch inference pipelines, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines.Translate business and functional requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions.Model DevelopmentDevelop and optimize AI models for use cases including:Claims automationFraud detectionRisk predictionProvider optimizationDocument AIEnsure models meet performance, reliability, and scalability standards.Data & IntegrationCollaborate with data engineering teams to integrate AI models with healthcare datasets such as:Claims dataEHR systemsClinical notesPrior Authorization (PA) / Utilization Management (UM) workflowsBuild pipelines that ensure PHI/PII data security and regulatory compliance.MLOps / Platform EngineeringImplement CI/CD pipelines for ML and LLM workloads using tools such as:MLflowVertex AIAWS SageMakerDatabricksAirflowArgoKubernetesApply LLM Ops best practices for RAG pipelines and Generative AI use cases.Collaboration & DeliveryWork cross-functionally with product managers, cloud engineers, healthcare SMEs, and clinical teams.Participate in Agile development processes.Document reusable AI architectures, patterns, and design decisions.Required Qualifications3 – 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering.Strong programming skills in Python with experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow.Hands-on experience with NLP, LLMs, Transformers, and Generative AI frameworks.Experience with SQL and large-scale data pipelines.Experience deploying ML/LLM systems on cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare data and compliance standards (HIPAA, RBAC, audit logging).Experience working within MLOps / LLMOps environments.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience working with Optum / UnitedHealth Group (UHG) / UnitedHealthcare (UHC).Experience with healthcare AI use cases such as:Claims analyticsPrior Authorization (PA) / CAVADocument AIFamiliarity with Optum AI platforms, reusable components, or AI Dojo programs.Experience delivering large-scale enterprise AI solutions.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to break down complex AI problems into implementable solutions.Excellent communication skills for collaborating with U.S.-based stakeholders.Passion for transforming healthcare using AI and advanced analytics.
