Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant – Cost Analysis & Cost Reduction (Retainer Basis) Engagement Type: Retainer / Contract Duration: 6 months to 1 year Work Mode: Work from Home Travel Requirement: May require travel to overseas client location for approximately one month Role Overview We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA) with hands-on experience in cost of production analysis and cost optimization . The role focuses on deep cost analysis, identification of inefficiencies, and recommending cost-reduction opportunities. Key Responsibilities Analyze cost of production across products, processes, and cost centers Break down and evaluate cost elements such as materials, labor, overheads, and logistics Identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, and areas for cost optimization Develop cost models, variance analysis, and management reports Support management with data-driven insights for cost reduction initiatives Work closely with operations, finance, and production teams to implement cost-control measures Ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting in SAP Prepare presentations and analytical summaries for client and leadership review Eligibility & Experience Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA) 5–7 years of experience in cost analysis, cost accounting, and production costing Proven experience in driving or supporting cost reduction initiatives Skills & Competencies Strong working knowledge of SAP (mandatory) Excellent Excel and analytical skills (cost models, variance analysis, dashboards) Strong business and commercial acumen Self-driven and comfortable working remotely Willingness to travel to client location, if required About Us A technology, process and risk consulting firm providing digital transformation, ERP, BI and analytics, cybersecurity, GRC, automation and IT strategy services across multiple industries, backed by decades of advisory experience and a global network.
