Hi All!!DBM Vircon Hiring!!Position Value PropositionThe Senior Modeler position is responsible for quality and on-time delivery of the project deliverables from a Tekla Model during a project life cycle pertaining to structural steel detailing. Demonstrate knowledge of error free and smart modelling techniques. This role includes partnering closely with the checkers, modelers, and the other detailing crew in support of meeting the project requirements/schedules.Core ResponsibilitiesResponsible to provide preliminary model estimation and schedule to Team LeaderResponsible to assign job to modellers on daily basis and monitor the progressResponsible to coordinate with Editing Crew for Drawing productionAccountable to monitor and ensure VM & Tekla Model / Drawing list integrity are in line with SOPsResponsible to understand R&D request from the team and take it forward with Development teamResponsible to proactively foresee the potential challenges and plan execution strategies for future sequencesResponsible to perform the duties of Senior Modeler / Modeler Gr. A and fulfill the requirements in their absenceResponsible to stay abreast of project matters and perform responsibilities in the absence of Team LeaderAccountable to review and give clearance to submit CDS hours. Must be completely familiar with DBMV and Client process for change work.Responsible to observe team members performance and suggest necessary trainings for developmentWork ExperienceExperience working/modelling in Large and Complex Projects with 8+ years’ experience in Structural Steel Detailing is preferred.Education/TrainingUniversity Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural Engineering, or equivalent relevant experienceCertificate or training in 3D modelling software, e.g. Tekla, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.Possess working knowledge using ASIC standards
