Job Title: Jr. EngineerDepartment: SCM – Purchase – Civil ProjectsExperience : 3+ YearsQualification: Any Graduate / Diploma in (Civil / Mechanical)Critical Skills & Personal AttributesThe role’s core functions are:The Purchase Junior Engineer (Civil Projects & CAPEX Utilities) is responsible for procurement of materials, equipment, and services related to civil construction projects and capital expenditure (CAPEX) utility installations such as water systems, electrical infrastructure, HVAC, and piping. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement aligned with project schedules.Key Responsibilities:Procurement & SourcingHandle procurement of civil construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.)Source utility-related equipment (pumps, pipelines, valves, electrical panels, HVAC systems)Float RFQs (Request for Quotations) and collect vendor offersAnalyze and compare quotations (techno-commercial evaluation)Documentation & CompliancePrepare purchase orders (POs) and maintain procurement recordsVerify invoices, delivery challans, and material receiptsEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and safety standardsEnsure Billings Records of vendors.Vendor ManagementIdentify and develop new vendors for civil and utility worksNegotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment termsProject CoordinationCoordinate with civil/project engineers for BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and specificationsEnsure materials are delivered as per project timelinesFollow up with suppliers to avoid delays in project executionCAPEX ProcurementSupport procurement planning for CAPEX projectsAssist in cost estimation and controlMaintain documentsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering0–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement (civil or project-based preferred)Soft Skill : - SAP- MM, Excel , World.
