JOB DESCRIPTIONAccounts, Finance & Business AnalystAI-Enabled | Multi-Entity | Dubai-BasedRole TitleAccounts, Finance & Business AnalystReports ToFounder / CEOLocationDubai, UAE (hybrid / remote considered for exceptional candidates)TypeFull-time or Part-time (flexible for the right fit)EntitiesMulti-entity: UAE (DED/DET licensed), India, SingaporeVenturesLearn with Leaders / Onward Fellowship, KnoWhere, Next Billion Lab, Future Doctors Fellowship, and adjacent venturesWhy This Role ExistsWe run multiple ventures across education, AI-powered city intelligence, and student entrepreneurship — operating in UAE, India, Thailand, Korea, and China. Revenue flows through Stripe, Wallex, and local payment rails. Books live in Xero. Compliance spans UAE corporate tax, India GST, Thailand withholding tax, and more. But this isn’t just a bookkeeping role. We need someone who can own the numbers AND turn them into decisions. That means pulling reports that tell us which Learn with Leaders programmes to double down on, which markets are converting, where our cohort economics are trending, and what to launch next. You’ll use AI tools like Claude as your daily co-pilot — for analysis, anomaly detection, forecasting, and generating the kind of insights we’d otherwise need a separate analyst for.Part A: Accounts & Finance•      Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation across all entities in Xero•      Stripe reconciliation: subscription billing, cohort-based programme fees, refunds, disputes, payout matching•      Wallex (or similar) cross-border payment tracking, FX exposure monitoring, and vendor settlements•      Accounts payable and receivable: invoicing, collections follow-up, vendor payments•      Monthly management accounts, P&L by entity and by venture, cash flow forecasting•      UAE Corporate Tax filings, VAT returns, and transfer pricing documentation•      India GST compliance, TDS, and annual filings coordination with local CA•      Payroll processing coordination (UAE WPS + India payroll)•      Bank relationship management: signatories, account openings, documentation•      Audit preparation: year-end schedules, confirmation letters, statutory packsPart B: Business Analysis & Programme IntelligenceThis is the part that makes the role different. You’re not just closing books — you’re the person who tells us what the numbers mean.Programme Performance (Learn with Leaders / Onward Fellowship)•      Build and maintain dashboards tracking enrolment, revenue, conversion rates, and cohort fill rates across all programmes and geographies•      Generate programme P&Ls: revenue per student, cost per cohort (mentors, operations, marketing), margin by programme type•      Forecast demand for upcoming programme cycles based on historical enrolment data, pipeline, and seasonal patterns•      Produce “go / no-go” analysis for new programme launches: minimum viable cohort size, break-even enrolment, marketing cost assumptions•      Track school partnership ROI: which school networks (GEMS, Aldar, Kings’, etc.) convert best, at what cost, and with what retention•      Analyse pricing sensitivity: what happens to conversion if we adjust pricing for Thailand vs UAE vs IndiaCross-Venture Reporting•      Monthly venture scorecard: each venture’s revenue, burn, runway, and key KPIs on a single page•      Investor-ready reporting packs: clean, visual, narrative-driven — not just numbers dumped into a table•      Cash runway modelling across all entities with scenario analysis (best / base / worst)•      Sponsorship and grant tracking for Next Billion Lab: committed vs received vs outstanding•      Market expansion modelling: unit economics for entering a new country or launching a new programmePredictions & Forward-Looking Analysis•      Use historical data + AI to predict which programmes will fill, which need marketing push, and which should be paused•      Seasonal revenue forecasting by market (e.g., summer programmes in UAE vs winter in Thailand)•      Student lifetime value analysis: do Onward Fellowship students convert to other programmes? At what rate?•      Early warning flags: enrolment pace vs target, refund rate trends, payment failure patterns•      Scenario planning for founder: “If we launch in 3 new schools in Korea, here’s the investment needed and expected payback”AI as Your Daily Tool (Non-Negotiable)This is not a line item. It’s how we expect you to work:•      Use Claude to analyse transaction data, spot patterns, and generate summary narratives•      Build prompts that extract insights from Stripe exports, Xero reports, and enrolment spreadsheets•      Generate scenario models (cash runway, pricing impact, cohort forecasting) with AI-assisted analysis•      Draft investor-ready financial summaries and board packs using AI support•      Automate repetitive reconciliation and categorisation tasks through smart prompting•      Create programme prediction reports by feeding historical data into Claude for trend analysis and demand forecastingIf you’ve never used AI for financial or analytical work and aren’t curious about it, this isn’t the role.Must-Have Requirements•      Qualified CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent (completed, not pursuing)•      3+ years hands-on experience with Xero (not just “aware of it” — you should be able to set up a new org from scratch)•      Working knowledge of Stripe: dashboard navigation, payout reconciliation, dispute workflows•      Experience with cross-border payment platforms (Wallex, Wise, Payoneer, or similar)•      Multi-entity, multi-currency accounting experience (UAE + at least one other jurisdiction)•      Strong business analysis skills: you can build a model, pull a report, and tell a story with data•      Experience building dashboards, scorecards, or management reports (Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools)•    Singapore Corporate Tax and VAT knowledge (post-2023 regime)•      Fluent English; written communication must be sharp, clear, and concise•      Demonstrated comfort with AI tools for professional work (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent)Nice-to-Have•      India GST / TDS filing experience•      Singapore accounting and taxation•      Experience with SaaS or ed-tech revenue models (subscriptions, cohort-based pricing)•      Familiarity with Zoho, QuickBooks, or other cloud accounting platforms•      Transfer pricing documentation experience•      Experience in education sector or programme operations•      Startup or founder-led company experience (you know what “wear multiple hats” actually means)What Success Looks LikeTimeframeMilestone30 DaysFull access to all platforms.
