Role SummaryWe are seeking a Network Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in network and system administration to support day-to-day IT infrastructure operations. This role focuses on monitoring and maintaining LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi connectivity, supporting servers and endpoints, troubleshooting incidents, and contributing to operational improvements and documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor network health and performance; respond to alerts and perform initial triage.Provide L1/L2 support for network issues (switching, routing, Wi-Fi, VPN) and coordinate with vendors/ISPs as needed.Configure, deploy, and maintain network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, access points) following change and documentation standards.Support system administration tasks such as user onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and basic server administration.Manage and troubleshoot Windows/Linux endpoints and common enterprise tools (AD, DNS, DHCP, file services).Assist with patching, firmware upgrades, backup checks, and routine maintenance activities.Maintain network diagrams, asset inventory, IP address documentation, and SOPs/runbooks.Apply security best practices (least privilege, MFA, secure configurations) and assist with vulnerability remediation.Participate in incident management and problem management, including root-cause analysis for recurring issues.Support small infrastructure projects (new site setup, Wi-Fi surveys, network refresh, cabling coordination).Required Qualifications & Skills1–2 years of hands-on experience in network support and/or system administration.Working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, VLANs, routing basics, NAT, and common troubleshooting.Basic firewall and VPN concepts (site-to-site and remote access).Experience supporting Windows environments (Active Directory concepts, Group Policy basics, DNS/DHCP fundamentals).Diploma/Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Exposure to enterprise networking platforms (Cisco/Fortinet/ ubiquiti) and Wi-Fi controllers.Virtualization and cloud fundamentals (VMware/Hyper-V).Understanding of security fundamentals (hardening, vulnerability management, EDR/AV concepts).Relevant certifications: CCNA, Network Working Conditions / Other Information.
