At Visy India, their technology hub in Hyderabad, they are expanding their technical capabilities to support their global business.Position summary:The Support Officer provides consultation on the application of advanced analytics and data visualization to address Visy Pulp and Paper operational objectives. This role focuses on turning /"large/" amounts of data into clear, visually striking dashboards and reports that facilitate informed decision-makingKey Result Area:What are the primary responsibilities of the role:Develop rich, interactive, visually striking graphics and data visualizations of /"large/" amounts of data that facilitate the presentation of dataRequired to work on a wide portfolio of visualization and data analysis projects, supporting multiple business partnersAssist internal customers with acceptance and adoption of implemented solutions to transition to an operating model that will deliver value from the analytic solutionProvide end-user support in relation to AVEVA OSI Soft PI related services.Relentless Pursuit of Best Value:Serve as an evangelist in data visualization techniques, analytics dashboard design, Infographic displays and information delivery best practices.Build compelling, interactive dashboards in PI Vision and PowerBI for deployment within Visy Pulp and Paper, and Visy.Create Data Visualization PI Vision, and / or PowerBI solutions.Supporting and maintaining AVEVA OSI Soft PI related servers and services.Safety and Environment:Take reasonable care to protect your own safety and health at work, and that of others by co-operating with the safety and health polices and procedures of Visy and complying with all work health and safety laws and regulations.For the protection of the environment and community, adhere to regulatory and site conditions as defined in policy and guidelines.Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.Experience and qualifications:Mandatory (critical for the role):Recently completed a degree or be eligible to graduate in either a Bachelor in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics.Fluent English (written and spoken.Desirable (preferable for the role):Experience with AVEVA OSI Soft PI suite of applications (such as: PI Historian, PI Asset Framework, PI Vision).Experience working with relational databases: Oracle and MS SQL.Experience developing data visualizations in PowerBI.Technical:Knowledge of: SQL, C/C++, R, Python.Understanding of Relational and Time Series database structures.Strong analytical mindset with a passion for quality.Business:A talent for gathering, organizing and simplifying complex information from multiple sources and systems.Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to summaries and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to compile and analyze data and produce related reports.Ability to analyze large datasets and provide recommendations for process optimisation/automation.Understanding of visualizations that are optimized for the target audience.
