Medical Image Annotators - Immediate Joiners Job Overview:Qualitas Global is seeking detail-oriented annotators with a background in biology or life sciences to work on medical image annotation projects. The role involves identifying, classifying, and verifying cells and tissue structures in microscope images, following defined visual guidelines.This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI/ML projects in the healthcare domain, supporting the development of digital pathology solutions. Key Responsibilities:* Perform annotation and/or verification of cells in medical images as per provided guidelines.* Accurately identify cell structures, boundaries, shapes, and textures.* Follow detailed visual and classification guidelines with high precision.* Apply basic understanding of cells, tissues, and oncology-related features where required.* Review pre-labeled data and validate correctness (verification tasks)* Maintain consistency and quality across large volumes of data.* Flag ambiguous or unclear cases for further review.* Meet productivity and quality benchmarks as defined during the project.* Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow. Required Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field* Basic understanding of cells, tissues, and preferably oncology concepts* Good communication skills (written and verbal)* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines* Good analytical and observation skills* Basic computer proficiency Preferred Qualifications:* Prior experience in medical annotation or image labeling* Exposure to histology, pathology, or lab work* Experience working with annotation tools or data labeling platforms Key Skills:* High accuracy and consistency* Ability to interpret visual patterns (shapes, textures, boundaries)* Ability to work on repetitive tasks with focus* Good communication and teamwork Work Details:* Shift Timing: Aligned with project requirements (e.g., 12 PM – 9 PM IST)* Work Type: On-site * Training: Structured training will be provided during the initial phase
