As a QA Automation professional, you will design, build, and execute automated and manual tests to ensure the quality of user stories and code releases. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Product, and Technology teams, driving test automation opportunities and contributing to risk reduction, cycle time optimisation, and capacity creation.What You’ll Do and How You’ll SucceedTesting & ValidationAnalyse user stories and assess their impact on existing functionalities. Design, build, and execute validation scenarios, including creation of required test data and set-up. Raise defects, participate in defect management calls, and follow up for timely resolution. Provide accurate testing estimates within daily scrum calls. Collaboration & CommunicationParticipate in daily calls, provide clear updates, and raise issues or concerns promptly. Partner with Operations, Product, and Technology groups to ensure UAT priorities are communicated effectively, especially for code releases and test environments. Maintain regular communication with your reporting manager on testing progress and challenges. Automation & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for testing automation and synergies within projects. Design, build, and test automated solutions using intelligent automation tools to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and shorten cycle times. We’d Love to Hear From You If…ExperienceYou have 2 to 5 years of test design, execution, and management experience, preferably within the Financial Services industry. Technical ExpertiseSkilled in Agile project delivery methodology and adaptable to evolving methodologies. Strong knowledge of intelligent automation applications (UI and API) and programming languages such as Java (required) and Python (basic knowledge preferred). Experienced with Cucumber, Gherkin, TeamCity, or similar tools. Proficient in Business Driven Development, Test Driven Development, or case automation methodologies. Strong technical expertise in CSS Selectors, Xpath, HTML5, AngularJS, and ReactJS UI. Experienced with test management tools such as Jira, Qtest, or ALM. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Ways of WorkingExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
