About the Company The Prosthetist & Orthotist (P&O) will be a cornerstone of our digital fabrication project. The primary mission is to train and mentor local partner facilities, provide technical and clinical oversight, ensure quality control, and support implementation of digital P&O workflow. The role includes close coordination with international organizations, federal/state health institutions, national orthopaedic /rehabilitation hospitals, universities, Private clinics, and NGOs. In early phases, you will help localize product and process specifications to Chilean patient needs (including elements of R&D). Responsibilities Training & Technical Support for Partner Sites Deliver structured training on digital P&O workflows (3D scanning → CAD design → 3D printing → assembly → fitting → follow-up). Use standard training manuals; conduct skills assessments and refresher sessions. Provide ongoing troubleshooting and mentorship (in person and remote). Project Execution & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with international organizations,ministries/agencies, hospitals, universities, and NGOs. Plan and track multi-site schedules; align with local/global teams. Prepare concise progress reports and implementation updates. Clinical Engagement & Technical Supervision Supervise/oversee patient evaluation, fitting, and follow-up at partner sites. Guide safe clinical practice and ensure quality/traceability in the digital workflow. Gather and analyze patient-reported outcomes and feedback. Product & Process Localization Propose adjustments to device specifications based on local anthropometrics, climate, activity levels, and component availability. Conduct local materials/process improvement studies with the global R&D team. Prototype and evaluate localized configurations with clear documentation. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed training logs, clinical supervision notes, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions. Consolidate manufacturing documentation from partner sites. Prepare briefings/reports in English for internal/external stakeholders. Other Duties Provide flexible support to ensure smooth project delivery and success, including logistics, trip arrangement, research activities, etc. Provide basic interpretation and translation support when needed. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisors. Qualifications Required At least three (3) years of practical experience in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, covering both clinical and technical aspects. Demonstrated hands-on competence in the design, fitting, and fabrication of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Basic computer literacy, including Word, Excel, email, and online conferencing tools. Basic oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and proactively across multiple sites. Willingness to travel within Chile and to work effectively in multicultural and multi-stakeholder environments. Preferred Possession of, or eligibility for, a nationally recognized P&O certification or registration in India. Completion of an ISPO-accredited P&O program (e.g., Human Study). Experience in training prosthetists, orthotists, or technical staff. Experience working in multi-stakeholder projects involving NGOs, government agencies, international organizations, or universities. Hands-on experience with 3D printers and 3D CAD tools for prosthetics and orthotics. Understanding of conventional fabrication methods, such as laminated sockets, pin-lock systems, and soft liners. A valid Indian driver’s license is an advantage for field-based activities. Pay range and compensation package Contract & Compensation Employment type based on candidate preference and project needs: Fixed-term employment (1 year, renewable, Contract of Service), or Contract for Service. Experience: 2+ years Salary: 6 LPA Travel and field expenses reimbursed per company policy. Working Hours & Leave Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00–18:00 (1-hour lunch).
