Namaskaram! AjnaLens is looking for a passionate 3D Artist (VR/MR Game Assets & Animation) to join our team at Thane (Maharashtra – India). We are seeking someone with 3+ years of experience in creating high-quality assets for mobile, PC, VR, and MR games/simulations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in environment and object creation, along with hands-on experience in character modeling and animation. This role requires a deep understanding of VR/MR constraints such as optimization, scale, and immersion, along with the ability to contribute to shipped projects. Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: Create immersive and optimized 3D environments, props, and objects for VR/MR and PC platforms. Model, rig, skin, and animate characters with realistic or stylized motion. Collaborate with developers and designers to integrate assets into Unity/Unreal while maintaining performance and visual quality. Minimum Work Experience Required: 3+ years of experience as a 3D Artist in mobile, PC, VR, or MR game/simulation projects. At least 1 shipped project (mobile/PC/VR/MR game or simulation). Top 5 Skills You Should Possess: Strong proficiency in Blender (modeling, texturing, rigging, animation). Solid experience in environment and prop creation. Good understanding of character modeling and animation pipelines. Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine asset integration. Strong knowledge of optimization techniques for VR/MR (poly count, LODs, draw calls, texture compression). Full-Stack & System Awareness: Understanding of PBR workflows, materials, and shader creation. Awareness of performance benchmarks and limitations in VR/MR environments. Ability to maintain visual consistency while meeting technical constraints. Leadership & Collaboration Capabilities: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and technical artists. Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality assets. Ownership mindset with the ability to manage tasks independently.
