About the Role The Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing hybrid infrastructure solutions integrated with Azure. The role requires deep expertise in virtualization, storage, networking, and advanced troubleshooting across on-premises and cloud environments. Responsibilities Design, deployment, and lifecycle management of HCI clusters Integration with Azure Arc Experience in hybrid cloud architecture and governance Expertise in virtualization using Hyper-V Hands-on experience with Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) Strong knowledge of networking concepts: RDMA, SET (Switch Embedded Teaming) High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) design and implementation Understanding of enterprise storage and compute infrastructure Strong experience in L2/L3 support and escalation handling Monitoring and diagnostics using Azure-native tools Automation using PowerShell scripting Experience in hybrid infrastructure operations and management Root cause analysis and performance optimization Strong working knowledge of Azure services: Azure Logic Apps Azure Backup Azure Site Recovery Azure Virtual Machines Azure Networking Azure Storage Azure Monitor Azure Policy Understanding of: Azure Well-Architected Framework Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models Qualifications 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or hybrid environments Strong background in customer-facing roles (architecture, support, consulting) Experience in enterprise or government environments Proven expertise in troubleshooting and hybrid infrastructure management Required Skills Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local Core Infrastructure (Virtualization + Storage + Networking) Troubleshooting & Operations Azure Infrastructure Expertise Preferred Skills Understanding of competitor cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) Experience with hybrid architecture design and multi-cloud strategy Knowledge of Microsoft Modern IT Architecture and Strategy Pay range and compensation package (Pay range or salary or compensation) Equal Opportunity Statement (Include a statement on commitment to diversity and inclusivity.)
