His/her Primary responsibility will be to support and monitor day-to-day work processes and meet production and Service Level Agreements. Assessing and forecasting staffing requirements based on client communication and incoming volume. Should coach team members in achieving team deliverables and escalate appropriately and as needed. Monitor activities of team members; provide feedback and counsel team members regarding performance, timekeeping, and personnel issues. Collaborative Customer Driven Accountable Open RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Graduation in Life Science preferred In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminologies Must be Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), with knowledge of HCPCS, ICD, CPT, and DRG preferred Minimum 8-10 years of experience in E&M coding and minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Asst Manager or Manager SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Develop systems, processes, and practices that seek to improve performance Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Works effectively with a wide range of people Proficiency in MS Office, and Visio Strong organizational skills and adaptive capacity for rapidly changing priorities and workload Excellent communication skills, inclusive of proficiency in spoken and written required JOB DEMANDS Flexibility to travel based on business needs is preferred Ability to work seated at a computer for long periods Candidate should be ready to work different shifts, including night shift KEY CONSTITUENTS Works with all Cotiviti business teams but especially the Medical Coding team.
