This position is part of our Carbon Markets team, which is primarily based in New Delhi, with a diverse extended team operating globally.About the roleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Market Monitoring Analyst to track and analyze daily developments in Carbon Markets and Clean Fuel sectors. This is an entry-level role suited for candidates with a background in journalism, media, or research who have strong news sense and editing skills.The role involves scanning global news sources, identifying relevant updates, summarizing insights, and supporting the creation and distribution of a daily newsletter for a professional audience.Key responsibilitiesTrack daily developments across: -Compliance and voluntary carbon markets  -Clean fuels (hydrogen, biofuels, SAF, CCUS, etc.)  -Climate policy, regulations, and corporate activityScan a wide range of sources including: -News platforms, government releases, company announcements, and primary sourcesCurate and validate information, ensuring: -Relevance to market stakeholders -Availability of credible/original sourcesExtract clear, concise summaries and headlines tailored for a professional audienceEnsure accuracy, consistency, and editorial quality of contentMaintain structured databases or trackers for news and updatesSupport the creation and dissemination of daily newsletter to a subscriber base (3000+ members)Ensure editorial quality, consistency, and timeliness of outputsCoordinate with internal reviewers/editors for quality controlContinuously improve content relevance and selection criteria   Required Qualifications & SkillsetsBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Economics, Environmental Studies, or related field 1–3 years of experience in journalism, content writing, carbon market / clean fuels / sustainability research, or editorial rolesStrong news sense and ability to identify relevant information quickly Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong editing and proofreading ability High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work with tight deadlines and daily deliverables Basic proficiency in MS Excel / Google SheetsGood to HaveUnderstanding of carbon markets, climate policy, or clean energy sectors Experience with newsletters, publishing tools, or content management systemsFamiliarity with data tracking, tagging, or research workflowsFamiliarity on SEO (search engine optimization)Exposure to business/market intelligence or sustainability domainsExperience working on MailchimpKey AttributesCurious and proactive learnerStructured and process-drivenAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong ownership and accountability for daily outputsLocationNew Delhi, IndiaIf you are interested, please write to us with a resume and also include a note on why you fit the profile.Email HR at: (ensure to mention the job role in the subject line)About cKineticscKinetics () is a mission driven Sustainability Insight, Innovation & Capital Advisory Firm.
