The analyst will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of exposure management strategies, producing catasrophe modelling outputs, supporting analysis, and helping to improve data quality and reporting processes. Daily tasks will include data collection and analysis, model validation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in exposure management practices.Qualifications3+ years of experience in Moody's RiskLink/Risk Modeler application. London Market experience desirable.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel and statistical softwareUnderstanding of actuarial principles and exposure management conceptsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentRelevant coursework or experience in actuarial science, data analysis, or insuranceBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field is preferredRole DescriptionTest, validate, and review catastrophe model outputs from Moody’s RMS and Verisk (Sequel Impact / Touchstone)Produce catastrophe modelling outputs and supporting analytical commentaryPerform data collection, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accurate model inputsSupport analysis of model results, sensitivities, and key driversConduct routine model testing and validation activitiesCollaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and exposure management teams to ensure consistency and efficiencyHelp develop and maintain standardised reporting and documentationContribute to continuous improvement of exposure management practices and tooling
