Role Description This is a full-time remote role as a Financial Analyst. In this position, you will play a key role in preparing financial statements, conducting financial analyses, creating detailed financial models, and assisting with financial planning and reporting. Responsibilities also involve providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making in the commercial real estate sector. Key Responsibilities - • Build and maintain complex financial models for real estate assets including multifamily, commercial, industrial, and hospitality properties • Conduct property-level and portfolio-level underwriting, including deal screening, sensitivity analyses, and return projections (IRR, NPV, equity multiple) • Prepare detailed cash flow projections, pro-formas, and valuation analyses • Perform market research and competitive landscape assessments to support investment decisions • Assist in the preparation of investment memos, investor decks, and offering memorandums (OMs) • Support asset management functions including budgeting, variance analysis, and performance reporting • Analyze rent rolls, lease abstracts, and operating statements to assess property performance • Collaborate with accounting teams to integrate financial data into models and reports • Maintain accuracy and quality standards across all deliverables in line with client SOPs Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required) MBA or Master's in Finance is a plus Experience 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, real estate investment analysis, or a related KPO/financial services role Hands-on experience building real estate financial models and pro formas Prior exposure to US commercial real estate markets is strongly preferred Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (dynamic models, complex formulas, scenario analysis) Familiarity with Argus Enterprise or similar real estate modeling software is a significant advantage Working knowledge of financial databases and research tools (CoStar, REIS, etc.) Experience with property management or accounting software (Yardi, AppFolio, MRI) is a plus Proficiency in PowerPoint for preparing client-facing presentations and investment decks AI & Emerging Technology Skills: Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to enhance financial research, report drafting, and workflow efficiency Ability to craft effective prompts to extract actionable insights from AI platforms for market analysis, data summarization, and investment commentary Familiarity with AI-assisted data extraction and document analysis tools for processing rent rolls, lease abstracts, and financial statements Understanding of how machine learning concepts apply to predictive modeling, property valuation, and market trend forecasting Awareness of AI-driven real estate platforms (e.g., HouseCanary, Cherre, Skyline AI) and their application in investment decision-making Commitment to staying current with evolving AI tools and integrating them responsibly into financial workflows Excellent written and oral communication skills Title : Real Estate Financial Analyst Department: Financial Analysis Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: REMOTE (New Delhi) Shift Timings: EST / PST (U.S. Time Zone)
