Job Description Title: CFO Location: Durgapur, West Bengal Job Type: Full-Time Summary: The Finance Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth across global operations. Reporting directly to the Board and senior management, this leadership position is responsible for driving financial excellence, compliance, and strategic decision-making. The individual will oversee complex financial operations across multiple international branches, ensuring alignment with global accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and local regulatory requirements. With a strong focus on financial planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement, the Finance Director will provide actionable insights that support long-term business objectives, operational efficiency, and investor confidence. Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals and market dynamics. Deliver strategic financial insights and data-driven recommendations to the Board and executive leadership. Oversee financial operations across international offices and multi-branch networks, ensuring consistency and scalability. Lead end-to-end Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Drive cost optimization initiatives, profitability assessments, and efficient resource allocation. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements. Maintain audit readiness and manage compliance with tax regulations, FEMA guidelines, transfer pricing, and other regulatory frameworks. Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and funding strategies. Establish and enforce robust internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks. Collaborate with external auditors, regulators, banks, and financial institutions to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth financial operations. Support fundraising efforts, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and investor relations activities. Requirements CA Qualified with proven experience in international financial operations. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with experience in multi-jurisdictional reporting. Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations across multiple branches and global entities. Strong expertise in FP&A, treasury management, and compliance with statutory and tax regulations. Experience in supporting M&A, fundraising, and investor engagement is highly desirable. Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a strategic mindset.
