We are seeking a skilled CAD & Engineering Specialist with hands-on experience in 3D modeling and engineering design. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools and a solid understanding of 3D viewports, tool ribbons, and engineering workflows.Location: Fully RemoteWorking Hours: Must overlap with India IST time zoneExperience: 4–8 yearsMax rate card - $11 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesCreate and modify 2D and 3D engineering designs using AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks. Navigate and utilize software tool ribbons and 3D viewports efficiently. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to produce accurate and manufacturable designs. Prepare technical drawings, assemblies, and prototypes. Maintain and update CAD documentation according to project requirements. Troubleshoot design issues and optimize workflows within CAD tools. Ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications4–6 years of experience in CAD design or engineering roles. Proficiency in at least one of the following tools: AutoCAD Fusion 360 SolidWorks Strong understanding of 3D viewports, layers, assemblies, and tool ribbons. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Preferred QualificationsExperience in mechanical or product design projects. Knowledge of simulation, rendering, or CAM processes. Exposure to PLM or version control systems for CAD files.
