Role Overview:We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the deployment and integration of Voice AI systems within enterprise call centre environments.This is a hands-on, client-facing engineering role focused on taking AI-powered voice solutions into production and ensuring seamless integration with telephony platforms and CRM systems.You will work closely with clients, backend teams, and product stakeholders to deploy, customize, and optimize real-world voice applications.Key Responsibilities:Deploy and configure Voice AI systems for real-world use cases (customer support, IVR, outbound calling)Integrate Voice AI solutions with call centre platforms such as Avaya, Vocalcom, or similar systemsWork with telephony protocols (SIP, call routing, session handling) to enable seamless voice interactionsBuild and manage API integrations with CRMs and backend systemsDesign and implement real-time workflows using webhooks and event-driven architecturesTroubleshoot production issues such as latency, call failures, and system reliabilityOptimize system performance, scalability, and cost in live environmentsCollaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver customized solutionsEnsure smooth deployment, monitoring, and iteration of voice systems in productionRequired Skills & Experience:3–7 years of experience in backend or full-stack engineeringStrong proficiency in Node.js or PythonExperience working with APIs, webhooks, and distributed systemsHands-on experience with telephony systems or voice platformsFamiliarity with SIP, IVR flows, or call routing logicExperience integrating systems with CRMs or enterprise platformsUnderstanding of real-time systems and low-latency architecturesComfortable working in client-facing, fast-paced environmentsGood to Have:Experience with platforms like Twilio, Genesys, Five9, or Amazon ConnectExposure to Voice AI / conversational AI systemsExperience working with OpenAI, Dialogflow, or similar AI APIsPrior experience in production deployments of voice or communication systems
