Job Title: Admission Manager – Himachal PradeshOrganization: Chandigarh UniversityLocation: Himachal PradeshReporting To: Zonal Manager / Head – AdmissionsRole OverviewThe Admission Manager will be responsible for driving student admissions, managing regional outreach activities, and building strong relationships with schools, colleges, and coaching institutes across Himachal Pradesh to achieve enrollment targets.Key Responsibilities1. Admissions & Revenue TargetsAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual admission targets.Manage complete admission lifecycle from lead generation to enrollment.Ensure high conversion rates through effective counselling.2. Outreach & Lead GenerationPlan and execute school visits, seminars, education fairs, and career counseling sessions.Build and maintain strong networks with school principals, counselors, and influencers.Generate quality leads through both on-ground and digital initiatives.3. Relationship ManagementDevelop long-term partnerships with schools, coaching centers, and educational consultants.Represent the university in the assigned territory as a brand ambassador.4. Team CoordinationCoordinate with internal teams (tele-calling, digital marketing, campus teams).Support and guide counselors to improve conversions.5. Market IntelligenceTrack competitor activities, admission trends, and student preferences.Provide regular feedback to management for strategy improvement.6. Reporting & MISMaintain accurate data of leads, follow-ups, and conversions.Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on performance metrics.Key RequirementsEducationGraduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred)Experience8-10 years in admissions, sales, or education marketingPrior experience in universities or higher education preferredSkills RequiredStrong communication & presentation skillsTarget-oriented and result-driven mindsetExcellent networking and relationship-building abilityWillingness to travel extensively within Himachal PradeshGood knowledge of MS Excel / CRM tools(LSQ, Merito, Salesforce)
