Our facility in Chaygaon operates two advanced manufacturing lines, ten high-speed packing stations, and two industrial boilers, maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and food safety.Core ObjectiveTo lead the engineering department in ensuring that all facilities, layouts, and machinery run at maximum efficiency and output. You will be responsible for total preventative maintenance, managing technical breakdowns, and overseeing the department budget and people management.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Strategy: Drive Maintenance and Reliability initiatives focused on Preventive and Predictive Maintenance rather than reactive repairs.Critical Technical Oversight: Manage and maintain specialized food manufacturing assets including:Utilities: Dual Boilers, Steam systems, and Water Filtration/RO systems.Production & Packaging: Two manufacturing lines, ten Flow wrap packing stations, Check weighers, and Metal detectors.Operational Leadership: Manage multiple shifts of Maintenance Supervisors and mechanics to ensure production meets or performs better than budget.Project & Installation: Lead new machine installations, validations, and participate in designing future production capacities.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Nestlé standards, FSSAI, and GMPrequirements.Resource Management: Maintain records for manuals and schedules while monitoring purchase orders, parts inventory, and the department budget.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: Minimum 7 years of operations management in a food manufacturing environment.Education: BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.Technical Expertise:In-depth knowledge of Boilers, Steam, and Water Filtration/RO systems.Proficiency with Flow wrap packing, Check weighers, and Metal detectors.Strong understanding of cGMPs, SOPs, and validated maintenance systems.Key Skills: Analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and superior communication skills to coordinate with R&D and manufacturing teams.Valued CertificationsProject Management Certification.Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Certification.Budget: 12-24 LPA
