Tech FEM Engineering Solutions, LLP is looking for a Project Manager for one of its US based clients.POSITION OVERVIEWPosition Title: Project Manager – Engineering SolutionsEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Mohali / Chandigarh, India (Hybrid / On-site)Reporting To: Senior Project Manager / Director – OperationsDepartment: Engineering & Project DeliverySupporting Division: SVI DynamicsPURPOSE / SUMMARYThe Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of engineering projects for Tech FEM Engineering Solutions LLP, ensuring successful execution within scope, schedule, budget, and quality parameters. This role serves as the primary interface between internal engineering teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors, driving accountability and technical excellence across all project phases.SCOPE & SCALE▸ Project value: up to USD 5 million per individual project▸ Annual portfolio: USD 10 – 15 million per financial year▸ Concurrent management of 10 – 20 projects per year▸ Project scope includes gas turbine and silencing equipment projects under SVI DynamicsQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLSEducation▸ B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (mandatory)▸ PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred; Six Sigma Green Belt is an added advantageExperience▸ 8 – 10 years of project management experience in engineering, construction, or industrial solutions▸ Demonstrated track record of handling multi-disciplinary engineering projects▸ Prior experience in an LLP, MSME, or growing engineering services firm is a plusKnowledge, Skills & Competencies▸ Basic knowledge of gas turbine systems and silencing/noise attenuation equipment (mandatory)▸ Strong understanding of procurement activities, technical drawings, and fabrication processes▸ Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera or equivalent)▸ Excellent command of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)▸ Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills▸ Effective verbal and written communication in English▸ Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders simultaneouslyCOLLABORATIONSInternal▸ Reports to: Senior Project Manager / Director – Operations▸ Engineering & Design Team▸ Quality Assurance & Control Team▸ Procurement & Supply Chain Team▸ Finance & Commercial TeamExternal▸ Clients / End Customers▸ Sub-contractors and Vendors▸ Statutory / Regulatory Bodies (as applicable)PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Support and drive successful execution of engineering projects within the SVI Dynamics division of Tech Fem Engineering Solutions LLP — on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.2. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.3. Analyze customer technical and commercial specifications, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements; translate these into clear, actionable instructions for internal teams and external partners.4. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including scope of work, project plans, risk registers, budget trackers, status reports, and closeout reports.5. Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, quality, and site teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and resolution of technical challenges.6. Monitor supplier and subcontractor obligations; proactively manage deviations in cost, schedule, or quality, escalating issues as needed.7. Manage procurement activities including vendor identification, RFQ processing, technical evaluation, and purchase order management.8. Handle customer inspections at SVI Dynamics subcontractor workshops for gas turbine and silencing equipment; ensure certifications, quality documents, and technical documentation are available during and after inspections.9. Work closely with the Sr. Project Manager, subcontractors/vendors, engineering, site, quality, and sales teams to ensure in-time, in-budget, in-quality delivery of all gas turbine project components.10. Provide timely and accurate project progress updates to senior leadership, highlighting risks and mitigation actions.11. Lead small-to-mid-sized projects independently from kick-off to project closure.12. Ensure all project certifications, quality records, and technical documentation are complete, accurate, and archived.13. Support business development activities by contributing to technical proposals, BOQs, and cost estimates as required.14.
