About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance & HR Executive to manage our business operations in India. You will be the point of contact for all financial compliance (GST/TDS) and human resource functions (Payroll/Hiring). This is a versatile role that requires a balance between "working with numbers" and "working with people." Responsibilities Finance & Taxation (India Focus): GST Compliance: Manage GST invoicing, reconciliation, and ensure timely data preparation for GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B). TDS & Taxation: Handle Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) calculations on vendor payments and ensure compliance with Indian tax laws. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage project-based billing, follow up on outstanding payments, and verify vendor invoices. Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain the cash book/ledger using Tally or Zoho Books. Human Resources & Payroll: Statutory Compliance: Manage monthly payroll processing, including PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employee State Insurance), and Professional Tax (PT). Recruitment: Source candidates for technical engineering roles, conduct initial screenings, and manage the onboarding process. Employee Records: Maintain the HRIS (Human Resource Information System), track leaves, and handle employee documentation/contracts. Office Admin: Oversee office maintenance, utility payments, and coordinate with local government bodies if required. Required Skills Accounting Software: High proficiency in Tally Prime or Zoho Books is mandatory. Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST and TDS rules and filing timelines. Payroll Expertise: Hands-on experience with Indian payroll components (Basic, HRA, PF, ESI). Excel Mastery: Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for financial reporting. Communication: Fluent in English and Hindi (or the local regional language) for effective vendor and staff coordination.
