Role Purpose: The Quality Officer - Transmission Lines plays a crucial role in ensuring that all transmission line projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is essential in maintaining compliance with project specifications and industry standards, thereby contributing to the overall success of our infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough quality inspections for foundation, tower erection, stringing, earthing, and related transmission line works. Ensure that all work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, IS/IEC standards, and project specifications. Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and detailed inspection reports. Monitor material quality and verify relevant test certificates to ensure compliance with project standards. Raise and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs); collaborate with site teams and clients to ensure quality compliance. Participate in regular project meetings to provide updates on quality status and coordinate quality initiatives. Support the continuous improvement of quality processes and contribute to training initiatives for team members. Requirements:Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or a Diploma in Electrical or Civil Engineering. Experience Requirements: 2-8 years of experience in transmission line or power infrastructure projects. Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ISO standards, and relevant industry regulations. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), adaptability, critical thinking, team building, and strong execution capability. Certifications: Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance/Quality Control are a plus.
