Job Title: Web Lead -- Reporting to: Web Manager -- Overview We’re looking for an experienced and proactive website marketer who will be responsible for the day-to-day management, performance, and continuous improvement of our website, ensuring it delivers outstanding user experience and supports our business objectives. This is an exciting time to join Access and you’ll be getting stuck in straight away so we’re looking for someone who really knows website best practice, and has great experience to draw from. We need someone with deep knowledge of the core principles of SEO, CRO and UX and has proven experience of spearheading positive change while baking in best practice – your results should speak for themselves. You’ll be a data-driven problem solver and not afraid to challenge the status quo. You’ll have a skill for communicating technical information in an accessible way. -- Responsibilities Driving lead generation through creating best in class user experiences on commercial websites Focus on SEO and improving content initiatives to drive organic traffic Champion user experience (UX) best practices and lead A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives – with recommendations for test and learn initiatives Monitor site analytics, producing regular reports and actionable insights for stakeholders Managing and delivering onsite optimisations and content updates Technical website-focussed partner to Digital Product Owner Needs to be commercial and customer focused Collaborate with marketing, product and development teams to plan and deliver website projects and campaigns -- Experience Proven experience in web optimisation role Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices Experience in UX and on-site optimisation (CRO) Project management – especially the delivery of technical projects Data literate and good numeracy skills – demonstrated by ability to report on performance in an accurate and accessible way Development and delivery of technical/digital requirements Use and experience of various CMS – Umbraco not essential but is a bonus Will have experience in using a wide range of digital tools Google Analytics Search Console Optimize or similar SEMrush or similar Heatmapping e.g Clarity, HotJar Looker Studio or similar Dreamdata or similar Experience in website migration projects is desirable but not essential -- Examples of tasks performed SEO analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement. This could include technical fixes, content updates, keyword optimisation, backlink building – you will be the key driver for identifying and implementing improvements to drive organic performance Data analysis – drilling into tools to help tell the story of what’s happening on the website and use those insights to offer recommendations for improvement Uploading page updates in the CMS in line with best practice Develop and run testing to improve onsite conversion (CRO) A/B testing, functionality testing etc Rolling out technical best practice across the extended digital team and TAG e.g adoption of the best tools Making sure documentation is up to date and maintained Create, own and deliver requirements to enhance the digital platform across TAG websites and properties
