Job Title

As a Senior Furniture & Product Designer, you will be a key player in the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to final production. Your responsibilities will include: In-House Design & Development: Conceptualize and design new and innovative furniture pieces and collections that align with our brand's aesthetic and market trends. Develop detailed product specifications, including 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and material selections. Create and manage the development of prototypes, working hands-on to refine and perfect designs. Conduct market research and stay abreast of emerging trends, materials, and technologies in the furniture and product design industry. Present design concepts and detailed proposals to internal stakeholders for review and approval. Manufacturers & Partners Management: Act as the primary design liaison with our domestic and international manufacturing partners. Clearly communicate design intent, technical specifications, and quality standards to ensure flawless execution. Review and approve factory drawings, samples, and pre-production models. Collaborate with manufacturers to troubleshoot design and production challenges, finding innovative and cost-effective solutions. Travel to manufacturing facilities as needed to oversee production runs and ensure quality control. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with our network of manufacturers and suppliers. Qualifications & Experience A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in furniture design and product development. A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successfully launched furniture products. Proven experience working directly with manufacturers and a thorough understanding of various production techniques and materials (wood, metal, upholstery, etc.). A bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field is preferred. Required Software Proficiency We are looking for a candidate with a high level of proficiency in the following industry-standard software: 2D & 3D CAD: SolidWorks AutoCAD Rhino 3D Modeling & Rendering: SketchUp Keyshot V-Ray 3ds Max Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop Illustrator InDesign Desired Skills Exceptional creativity and a strong sense of aesthetics and design principles. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to overcome challenges.
