Job Summary TheElevation Builder Administrator Iis responsible for day‑to‑day operation of the Elevation Builder tool, with a focus on accurate data entry, device image management, and production of basic reports and diagrams. This role ensures that new devices, cabling, and user access are consistently maintained according to defined standards and processes. Key Responsibilities Data entry & configuration management Enter new devices into Elevation Builder, including all required attributes (device type, model, ports, location, ownership, etc.). Maintain accuracy and completeness of device records, updating changes as hardware is added, moved, or decommissioned. Perform routine data quality checks and resolve missing or incorrect fields. Image creation and management Create and updatedevice imagesfor use within Elevation Builder, following established visual standards and templates. Maintain an organized image library, ensuring that naming conventions and version control practices are followed. Coordinate with engineering or design teams to obtain required device specifications or reference materials. Visio development for reports and drawings Build and updateMicrosoft Visiodiagrams based on Elevation Builder data (e.g., rack layouts, connectivity diagrams, device elevations). Produce standard reports and drawings for internal stakeholders (sales, pre‑sales, engineering, operations) using existing templates. Export and distribute diagrams and documentation in agreed formats (e.g., PDF, images) as requested. Cable and port mapping Mapcable types to device portswithin Elevation Builder according to design specifications and standards. Update cabling records when changes occur and verify consistency between diagrams, tool data, and field documentation. Flag discrepancies or incomplete cabling information to senior team members for resolution. License and user administration (operational) Assist withuser provisioning , de‑provisioning, and role assignments in Elevation Builder based on approved requests. Perform initial license and access checks, escalating exceptions or capacity issues to senior administrators. Support periodic user access reviews and basic audit report generation. Support & collaboration Respond to basic user queries about Elevation Builder data, diagrams, and reports. Document recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base articles and quick‑reference guides. Collaborate with more senior administrators to improve data quality, templates, and workflows. Required Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of experience in atechnical administration ,CAD/diagramming , orIT operationsrole. 8-12 Years of overall IT experience. Proficiency withMicrosoft Visio(or similar diagramming tools). Strong attention to detail and commitment todata accuracy . Basic understanding ofnetworking and infrastructure concepts(devices, ports, cable types). Ability to follow establishedprocesses, standards, and naming conventions . Intermediate skills in Excel or similar tools for working with tabular data. Good written and verbal communication skills; able to follow technical instructions and document work clearly. Preferred Qualifications Experience withElevation Builderor similar infrastructure documentation tools. Familiarity withIT asset management ,DCIM , ornetwork documentationworkflows. Exposure tolicense managementoruser administrationin any enterprise tool.
