Audio Driver Developer Location :- Bangalore Experience :- 5-9 Years Join our engineering team to design and build high‑performance audio driver solutions across Linux and Android platforms. You’ll work closely with hardware, BSP, and system teams to ensure seamless audio integration, low‑latency performance, and high‑quality sound experiences across devices. Your Role As an Audio Driver Developer, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing audio driver components within embedded systems. You will collaborate with hardware engineers, platform teams, and kernel developers to enable reliable audio functionality across different interfaces and architectures. In this role, you will: Driver Development: Design, implement, and maintain audio driver code for Linux or Android , leveraging ALSA/ASoC frameworks . Board Bring-up: Perform low‑level audio driver integration with hardware components such as audio codecs and DSPs during BSP bring‑up. Hardware Interface Communication: Work with digital audio interfaces including I2S, TDM, PCM, and PDM to ensure accurate and high‑quality audio routing. System Optimization: Optimize audio algorithms and drivers for performance, low latency, and memory efficiency . Debugging: Use debugging tools to analyze and resolve kernel‑mode driver issues , including hardware‑OS interaction problems. Your Profile Strong knowledge of ALSA/ASoC frameworks , Linux kernel concepts, and Android audio architecture. Hands-on experience with audio codecs, DSP architectures , and embedded hardware components. Familiarity with digital audio interfaces (I2S, TDM, PCM, PDM) and related debugging methodologies. Solid C/C++ programming skills with experience in kernel‑level development . Ability to perform root‑cause analysis for audio driver issues across hardware and system layers.
