Established by a passionate founding group (IIT, IIM, HBS, Rochester, MBB, start-up alumni) and backed by reputed funders, we are a diverse team of passionate, energetic, and optimistic folks with a shared ambition of transforming India’s education system.  About the Role  In partnership with the Meghalaya Early Childhood Development Mission (MECDM) , Rocket Learning is expanding its programs across all districts of the state. As part of this initiative, we are hiring 3 ECCE Language Experts , one each fluent in Khasi, Garo and Jaintia , to support content localization, training, and user feedback integration. As an ECCE Language Expert, you will support the development and contextualization of early learning content in your assigned local language. You will play a key role in ensuring that Rocket Learning’s video-based and activity-based content is culturally relevant, pedagogically sound and easy to understand for Anganwadi workers and caregivers in your community.  Key Responsibilities  1. Translate and adapt educational scripts and materials into Khasi / Garo / Jaintia , ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance  2. Collaborate with content experts and media producers to support scripting, dubbing and reviewing video content  3. Participate in user testing of content with Anganwadi workers; integrate feedback into content improvement  4. Support in the training of field staff (District Coordinators etc.) to ensure accurate delivery and usage of the localized content  5. Ensure all content aligns with MECDM’s ECCE priorities and national ECCE frameworks 6. Provide ongoing feedback to the content team for continuous improvement of content delivery and training practices  Required Qualifications  1. Degree or certification in ECE, Education, Child Development, or related fields   2. Fluency in Khasi / Garo / Jaintia (depending on position) and working proficiency in English   3. 1-3 years of experience in ECCE curriculum development, teacher training, teaching or related education roles   4. Familiarity with local culture and early learning practices in Meghalaya   5. Comfort working with digital tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in training settings   7. Willingness to travel to districts for user testing and training sessions
