Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Consultant Nephrologist, based in Siliguri. The role involves providing expert consultation and treatment for patients with kidney-related conditions. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and managing renal disorders, overseeing dialysis treatments, assisting in kidney transplant cases, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient care standards are met. The consultant will also contribute to clinical research, participate in patient education, and uphold the hospital’s commitment to world-class kidney care. Qualifications Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing nephrological disorders, including acute, chronic, and complex conditions. Experience in dialysis management and kidney transplantation procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams. Commitment to patient-centered care, high ethical standards, and empathy in dealing with patients and families. Board certification or equivalent qualification in Nephrology with a valid medical license. Research experience and a commitment to contributing to innovations in the field of nephrology are a plus.
