Job Description Team Pakka is Hiring Projects Procurement Head (Female Candidates Preferred) Team Pakka is seeking a dynamic and experienced Projects Procurement Head to lead our Project Procurement Function, ensuring project completion on time, within budget, and with uncompromised quality. Key Responsibilities: As a Projects Procurement Head, you will: 1. Ensure smooth fund flow and avoid inventory pile-ups. 2. Explore multiple sourcing options and maintain market intelligence to optimize costs. 3. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers. 4. Conduct vendor reviews and maintain a robust vendor rating system. 5. Identify and remove bottlenecks to ensure timely project completion. 6. Implement transparent, seamless, and efficient procurement processes. 7. Mentor project leads and support heads, enhancing their commercial acumen. What You Will Bring: Essential (Must-Have): 1. Proven expertise in domestic and international sourcing, including familiarity with: · Letters of Credit, Bills of Entry, Bills of Lading · INCOTERMS (FOB, CIF, CFR, etc.) · International insurance and shipping practices · Country-specific packaging and fumigation requirements · Coordination with freight forwarders and customs clearing agents 2. Experience collaborating with Project Planners, Schedulers, Cost Control, Finance, and Contracts Administrators; may assume these responsibilities alongside procurement. Educational Background: 1. Engineer + MBA (Supply Chain preferred, not mandatory) OR Commerce Graduate + MBA (Supply Chain preferred, not mandatory 2. Proven experience in capital equipment sourcing in large organizations. 3. 20+ years of experience in capital equipment procurement. 4. Experience handling procurement for projects worth ₹500 Crores or more. 5. Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, SAP, PRIMAVERA, etc.). 6. Solid understanding of import/export procedures, taxation laws, logistics, and supply chain systems. Industry preference: Paper Industry, but not mandatory. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. · Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset. · Attention to detail and a results-driven attitude.
