Senior Video Editor (AI + 2D Animation + VFX) Location: Bangalore (JP Nagar) Work Mode: On-site | 5 Days a Week About the Company We are a fast-scaling Agentic AI-driven content studio redefining storytelling through technology. Our core focus is on producing high-quality 2D animated video content for OTT platforms in the US , combining cinematic storytelling with cutting-edge AI workflows. We are currently in Stage 2 of our content evolution , where the benchmark has significantly shifted—from functional content to premium, entertainment-grade productions comparable to films, trailers, and high-end advertising. Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Video Editor who brings a filmmaker’s mindset , not just editing skills. This role demands someone who has worked on films (short/feature/documentary), trailers, or high-production-value branded content , and can craft visually stunning, emotionally engaging narratives. You will work at the intersection of AI-powered workflows, 2D animation, VFX, and cinematic storytelling , helping us produce OTT-ready content that meets global entertainment standards. What We’re Looking For We are not looking for editors with experience limited to: Wedding videos Basic YouTube edits or podcasts Corporate or functional branded content We are looking for candidates who have worked on: Films (short, long-form, fiction, non-fiction, documentary) Trailers, advertising films, or entertainment content High-end branded content with cinematic quality Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end video editing for premium 2D animated content Collaborate with writers, animators, and AI teams to bring stories to life Integrate Agentic AI tools into video production workflows Execute advanced VFX, motion graphics, and compositing Design and enhance soundscapes using sound effects, background scores, and audio layering Maintain cinematic pacing, storytelling depth, and visual consistency Optimize content for OTT platform standards (US audience focus) Continuously elevate production quality to match film and advertising industry benchmarks Required Skills & Experience 5–10+ years of experience in video editing / film production Proven experience working on: Films / Documentaries / Trailers / Ads Strong expertise in: 2D Animation workflows Motion Graphics VFX & Compositing Sound design & audio mixing Hands-on experience with AI-powered or AI-assisted video tools (Agentic AI preferred) Advanced proficiency in tools such as: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects DaVinci Resolve, Nuke, or similar Strong storytelling, pacing, and cinematic sensibility A high-quality portfolio showcasing entertainment-focused work (mandatory) Preferred Background Experience in entertainment production houses / studios Exposure to OTT content creation Candidates from Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, or similar entertainment hubs are highly preferred Profiles similar to Nitin Burli and Kashyap Swaroop (film + high-quality storytelling background) What Sets You Apart You think like a director/editor , not just a technician You understand emotion, rhythm, and storytelling at a cinematic level You’ve worked on content that feels like: A film A trailer A high-budget ad Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI + storytelling intersection Build content for global OTT platforms Be part of a high-growth, creatively ambitious studio Opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven entertainment Application Process If this aligns with your experience: Share your portfolio (must include film / high-end content work) Shortlisted candidates will be invited for creative evaluation + discussion
