Position: Design Engineer – Civil (Hydro Projects)Experience: 5 to 10 YearsLocation: Vishnugarh, RishikeshIndustry: Hydropower / Water Resources / InfrastructureRole Summary:The Design Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for civil design and detailed engineering for hydro power projects including preparation, review, and coordination of design deliverables as per applicable standards and project requirements.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of civil design and detailed engineering drawings for hydro projectsDesign of hydro-related structures such as intake, spillway, canal, powerhouse, tunnels, surge shaft, penstock supports, and other allied structuresPreparation of design calculations, technical reports, and BOQ support documentsCoordination with multidisciplinary teams (Hydraulic, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Geotechnical)Review of drawings, specifications, and design submissions from contractors/consultantsEnsure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirementsSupport in resolving design-related site queries and technical clarificationsAssist in design optimization and value engineering where requiredKey Skills Required:Strong experience in civil design for hydropower projectsKnowledge of RCC/steel structure design concepts and hydro infrastructure planningProficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D (preferred)Familiarity with analysis/design software (STAAD Pro / ETABS / SAP2000 – preferred)Understanding of relevant IS codes and international standards (as applicable)Good coordination and communication skillsEducational Qualification:B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)Preferred Experience:Experience in detailed design of hydropower components and associated civil structuresExposure to design review, technical documentation, and client/PMC coordinationInterested candidates may share CV at:
